Peanut Remote for TiVo DVR 3.0

Peanut is a remote control designed specifically for your preferred DVR. It offers a range of functional features and a user-friendly interface.

Key Features:

• The classic design of Peanut ensures comfortable and intuitive use.
• Rotate the device to access a full QWERTY Keyboard for easy text entry (please note that not all DVRs support keyboard entry, so check if your device has the rotation lock engaged).
• Peanut allows for automatic DVR discovery using Bonjour or manual connection through IP and port.
• For Premiere and later DVR models, Peanut offers a unique "Premiere" mode that optimizes keyboard support by utilizing a different set of remote codes.

Keep in mind that certain functions, such as TV power and volume control, are not compatible with Peanut. These functions are specific to your television and cannot be transmitted from the DVR itself. Please note that the stock hardware does not facilitate retransmitting these commands at present. Although it may be possible to achieve this functionality with additional hardware or an iOS accessory, it is currently not achievable with the standard hardware.

Please ensure that your TiVo is Series 3 or later as Peanut does not work with 1st or 2nd Generation DVRs. Additionally, enable the "Network Remote Control" feature on your TiVo and ensure that both your TiVo device and iOS device are connected to the same network. Use the "Info" button to search for DVRs broadcasting for remote control on your network (accessed through the "i" button in the upper right corner of Peanut's remote control).
